ACCREDITATION
The school has been a member of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) since 1984 and was accredited by ACSI in 1994. Accreditation by ACSI is recognized by secular accreditation agencies, as its requirements include and often exceed those demanded by those agencies. ACSI also requires Christian schools to meet additional requirements in spiritual areas not required by secular agencies.
The SCCLC American diploma is acceptable to most North American institutions of higher learning. In 1991, SCCLC and the Bolivia Ministry of Education signed an agreement with allows recognition by the Bolivian government and preparation of students for the Bolivian “Bachillerato” which is issued by the Ministry of Education. This agreement, which also allows for an alternative academic calendar, teaching in English and maintaining an internationally recognized grading scale, was renewed in 2014.
